In this post, I discuss some things I’ve picked up over the years to help us know when it is not a good idea to manipulate a patient. A lot of therapists are very interested in obtaining the skills of manipulation, and subsequently eager to practice those skills. However, we should always understand who NOT to manipulate in our attempts to do no harm.
